Design Associate

Bailey graduated with a bachelor’s degree in architecture, with honors, in 2024 from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Before graduating he has been working on and off in the field with internships and summer jobs since 2018. He Joined the Shaw Design Associates team in January of 2025 and is excited to be designing in the custom residential field.

​

In high school and college, he spent a lot of time in the shop creating an array of art and furniture with wood, metal, and plastics. He has been part of groups, like habitat for humanity and Appalachia service project, that gave him hands-on experience in constructing and renovating homes.

​

In his free time, he enjoys building furniture and cabinets in his small home shop, as well as small home renovations.
